其他摘要 | As the main power of the workers and builders in the future, college students get more attention on their ability to contribute to the production of future work which is be related both their moral standards and mental health (or conversely, undermine the ability). So we can say that the level of the students' moral development and mental health, compared to their intellectual level of knowledge, is another determinants in the national level and quality of human capital. Given the importance of these two aspects , the relationship between the college students' moral standards and mental health appears surrounding important. As the reason that if there is some intrinsic connection between that two aspects, we 'd better to figure out their relationship that will make significant enlightenment to our understanding of that two aspects' improvement and changed rules, and also to the practices of personnel training. However, for this important issue, literature search and review attacks us that there are two significant limitations in current research: One is that the study of the relationship between the moral standards and mental health stays at the level of experience discussion, which is fragmented, superficial, lack of clear and reliable theoretical foundation. Therefore, the study, which is based on a systematic theoretical framework to analyze the relationship between that two aspects, is needed urgently. Another limitation is that the recent researches of the above relationship only stay in the discrimination level reasoning. According to these literatures, there is no researchers on the relationship between the two aspects, using empirical test. Lack of empirical testing means only depending on the intuitive debating knowledge, with the reduced reliability. In addition, the relationship of that two important variables can not be in-depth study. For this reason, this study attempts to comb the preliminary theory for the relations between the psychological health level and moral development level of the college students. And then the empirical data should be used to test a series of hypothesis which are set up under the theoretical deduction, with significance to compensate for the limitations of existing researches. This research uses the moral cognitive development theory to capture the moral level of college students which is put by Kohlberg. And the SCL - 90 factor dimension is used as operationalizational definition of mental health. This research sums such a framework towards the influence mechanism of moral development level on mental health: the level of moral development through cognitive dissonance and interpersonal conflict that two paths leads to unhealthy emotions and attitudes which affects mental health consequences. On this basis, this study proposed the moral development level influence SCL - 90 specific dimensions. In addition, considering the diversity on the moral development and the prominent nature of mental health problems of the freshman are the most special, so that we choose the college students as the research object of this research. This study adopted two standard test tools those are Lawren Kohlberg’s moral level test and SCL - 90 symptoms self evaluation scale of mental health, Our test is for a regular full-time undergraduate (four-year) on 1144 freshmen in the north, in more than one time and places to carry on the investigation and test in turn. Eventually, we won the 1079 valid samples. Through correlation analysis, cross table test, variance analysis and other statistical methods, this study found that: 1. Gender, age, rural or urban registered permanent residence, and parents' education level will have little impact on the level of college students moral development and mental health on the whole. 2. In the study, the mental health of college freshmen in forced symptoms and sensitive interpersonal relationship is relatively outstanding, with rate accounted for 26.18% and 26.18% respectively. Followed by the depression, anxiety, hostility and paranoid, with the ratio between 8% and 10%. These results are similar with aged researches. 3. The sample in this study attached to custom level accounted for the vast majority (83.2%), a few students reach the postconventional level (around 9.5%) or stay in preconventional level (around 7.3%). The distribution characteristics of these results and is also close to other researchs. 4. This study predicts the level of moral development stage have differences in the mental health of interpersonal sensitivity, anxiety, depression, paranoia, and hostility. And the empirical results demonstrate the differences reach significant level on somatization, interpersonal and sensitivity, which partly supports our hypothesis. In general, the theory predicts the moral level do not affect the mental health dimension, the empirical results support that basically; the theory predicts moral level can affect the mental health dimensions, that some empirical results support. |
