Based on corpus analysis, the current project aims to (1) explore the impact of discourse structure and information structure on sentence focus, (2) address the issue of focus identification and focus projection in discourse sentences. The ultimate objective of the current project is to provide theoretical guidance for the prosodic modeling of discourse in speech engineering.
