其他摘要 | Insight is a significant and helpful event in psychotherapy, and it is vital to improve the psychotherapeutic insight in psychotherapy. This study used microcounselling dialogue among high school students to induce therapeutic insights, and explored whether the two factors of creativity-novelty and appropriateness can affect the psychotherapeutic insights and the effect of treatment.
Study 1 included two laboratory experiments. The preliminary experiment explored the enhancement effect of novelty and appropriateness on the therapeutic insights induced by the micro-counselling dialogue texts in 60 graduates, indicating the feasibility of this research direction. In experiment 1, similar research paradigms were adopted to explored the effect of novelty and appropriateness among high school students, and the Test Anxiety Inventory were used to distinguish high school students with high- or low-test anxiety (high test anxiety: n=48, low test anxiety: n=54). The results showed that the inducing effect of insight during treatment will be affected by the degree of individual symptoms, that appropriateness significantly enhances insight during treatment, and individuals with high test anxiety have less insight under inappropriate conditions than individuals with lower test anxiety, indicating the importance of appropriateness for individuals with anxiety symptoms. Overall, study 1 shows the effect of novelty and appropriateness on the induction of insight in treatment, and then in study 2, we explored the effect of novelty and appropriateness on the results of intervention or treatment (improvement of emotion and reduction of symptoms) based on the results of study 1.
Study 2 was an internet intervention experiment for high school students (n=367), and it explored the novelty and appropriateness to high school students general anxiety (GAD-7), test anxiety (TAISF), pressure perception (PSS) and the influence of emotional valence, arousal, and the degree of confusion before and after training. The results showed that compared with the control group without real treatment components, the intervention group's emotional valence and arousal were significantly increased after the intervention, and generalized anxiety decreased significantly. In addition, the moderating effect analysis shows that novelty has a moderating effect in appropriateness and increase in arousal, the decrease in confusion, and the decrease in perceived pressure, indicating that only under the condition of high novelty (intervention group), appropriateness have an enhance effect on intervention effects.
In summary, this study shows that novelty and appropriateness enhance the insight induced by micro-counselling dialogue, and on the other hand, novelty and appropriateness have intervention effects of emotion regulation and symptom reduction in a micro-consulting dialogue based internet intervention. |
