Objective To study the mental state of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) and explore the causes of mental disorders. Methods A total of 40 patients with chronic rhinosinusitis without nasal polyps (CRSsNP) and 40 patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) were enrolled in the study group, and 30 patients with nasal septal deviation (DNS) were enrolled in the control group. The hospital anxiety and Depression Scale (had) was used for data analysis by spss25.0 software. Results There were significant differences in anxiety, depression and SNOT- 22 between CRSsNP, CRSwNP and DNS patients (P<0.05). NLR and PLR were positively correlated with anxiety and depression in CRSwNP,CRSsNP and DNS patients (P<0.05). Conclusions CRS patients are more prone to anxiety, depression and other adverse emotions than DNS patients, and the occurrence of adverse emotions is related to inflammatory index.
