摘要 | The main objective of this study was to examine the impact of proactive personality on work-family enrichment, incorporating resource conservation theory and trait activation theory. Specifically, we aimed to investigate the mediating role of resource attainment and the moderating role of empowering leadership. The research employed various statistical analyses, including common method bias test, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The sample comprised 415 full-time employees who completed valid questionnaires. The findings showed a significant positive correlation between proactive personality and resource attainment at work. Additionally, we found that resource attainment was significantly and positively associated with work-family enrichment. Moreover, resource attainment was found to partially mediate the relationship between proactive personality and work-family enrichment. Notably, empowering leadership was found to positively moderate the relationship between proactive personality and resource attainment, as well as the full mediation model. This suggests that higher levels of empowering leaders result in higher resource attained by proactive individuals, leading to stronger work-family enrichment for employees. |
